ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management. It is not a claim about how a single sofa looks on the day it is finished; it is about whether a workshop can produce the same standard again, and again, and prove it.
In practice it means our steps are written down rather than remembered. Frames, joinery, foam, fabric and finish each have a defined standard, the person doing the work knows what that standard is, and the check that follows is recorded. When something falls short, it is corrected before the piece leaves us, and the reason is logged so the same fault is not repeated.
For you, that shows up in two quiet ways. The first is consistency: an armchair ordered a year after the sofa is made to the same specification. The second is accountability — our five-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship is only sensible to offer because the process behind it is documented.
